Is the world really flat?

We might not have internet for a while so I will give a brief and boring update and the happenings so far or rather the lack of happenings.....Texas is big. It took us twelve hours to reach New Mexico and good god I was ready for another state. The drive was much more beautiful than I remembered the last time I drove it. The scenery was much greener and alive this time.  My parents were visiting a couple years ago and we were driving out to Big Bend. I remember about every ten minutes my Mum saying something like, "there's just nothing out here, it so flat!" Another ten minutes, "It's so flat, does anyone actually live here?" etc.... As you can imagine it was quite a trip:) But this time it wasn't so bad, Katie and I still found we enjoyed the beauty of the land and the sunset was amazing.

So here we are somewhere in New Mexico, shacked up in some roadside hotel and ready for the canyon! I hear it's grand:) More the come!
